ABOUT BestShepherd RAVIN —
EMail: Saturday, July 18, 2009

Hi Becky,
I just wanted to let you know about RAVIN as in "Raving Beauty" which she is. We bought her from BestShepherds in May (2009) and what a WONDERFUL Mother's Day present she was! She is smart and sweet and ALWAYS happy. She has been a fabulous addition to our family, including our Husky whom was missing a shepherd we had that passed away.

Thank you SOOO much — and pass the word that: YOUR PUPS ARE G-R-E-A-T!!

ABOUT BestShepherd BELLA —
EMail: Tuesday, May 5, 2009

Hi Becky,
Bella is doing WONDERFUL and growing like a weed. I bet she weighs close to 60 pounds by now. Today was her second day in obedience class, but all she wants to do is play with the other dogs — but thats OK. We can always go back when she gets a little older. We let her have fun while she is little. She and our Yorkie play all day here, quite entertaining to say the least, watching those two play chase in the house! The Yorkie runs under and around things and Bella just runs into stuff. I don't know if I told you but I got them a small bag of Wellness puppy, by Nature puppy and Orjin puppy food and they all went after the Orjin more than any of it, so now all 3 are eating Orjin Puppy food. Our grown German Shepherd Onyx is gaining some weight which she needed a little. She is filling out good and they all seem more active, even the crack-headed Yorkie! We call him Crack-Head as hyper as he is but he loves to play endlessly with Bella. Bella is a true daddy's girl. She goes everywhere in the house and outside when and where I go. She goes to work with me a lot too. With Summer coming on, I'm building them a big outdoor pen, 14x60 feet and 5 feet high under one of our big oak trees. It will include a little covered building to stay in and a water-mister on one end while we are at work. It gets 110 to 115 degrees in July and August and that is normal here. I don't want her getting too hot with that long hair. I'll keep in touch to let you know how she is doing. I really love that little girl!

Thanks again so much,
Richard H.

NOTE: Bella was adopted from BestShepherds by Richard H. who is a Chief of Police in Texas.

Hi Becky,
We had Bella spayed today. We had considered letting her have one litter when she got about two years old, but the more we thought about it — we would have ended up keeping all of them! The Vet also gave her a booster shot, did a CBC, and cleaned her ears. Bella weighed 67.7 pounds. Everyone at the Vet's enjoyed her. She visited and played with everyone — all the staff and the people in the waiting room. Dr. From, her Vet, talked a lot about how friendly she was to everyone there. He says most German Shepherds that age that come in are timid and shy, but not Bella. Bella never meets a stranger she doesn't like and everywhere we go, she visits with and plays with anyone and everyone. This little girl has totally won my heart, she is now a permanent part of our family. Words can not describe how glad I am that we found you. Take care and ya'll "have a great one."
Thanks again
Richard H.

Hi,
I went to the local vet the other day to pick up some more vitamins and I had my baby girl "Bella" with me. I wanted to get her weighed. However the vet didn't have any scales that big. He looked her over really good and picked her up a couple of times. He said she would go at least 105 pounds if not more — not bad for a 1-year old. Bella is my baby!!
Have a great one,
Richard H.

ABOUT BestShepherd BAUER —
EMail: Monday, February 23, 2009

Hi Becky,
I purchased a pup from you in August. His birthday was June 22, 2008. His dad was Hogan and his mom was Ginger. He's an awesome guy — just beautiful! My family just loves him. He is so well behaved. We named him Bauer (after hockey equipment).
Just wanted to give you an update.
Thanks,

Sharon R.

ABOUT BestShepherd LEO —
EMail: Sunday, April 12, 2009

Hi Becky,
Happy Easter! I'm sorry that it's taken me a little while to check in with you, but I wanted to let you know that Leo (our puppy) is absolutely wonderful! He is the smartest puppy that I have ever seen. He has not had a single accident in the house — and he fits in here perfectly. I think he has one of the nicest personalities I have ever seen in a dog. He loves to play. He is sweet and fun, but extremely cooperative and seems almost wise beyond his weeks! He has a wonderful life — with hours and hours of play every day — but lots of time to rest in between.

We like him so much in fact that my sister, Kathy (who is his primary "babysitter" during the week), would like to get one of his brothers or sisters or cousins. Do you have any other puppies that are available? We think it would be wonderful for them to grow up together and near the same age. She has an adult Husky that is very friendly and used to being around other dogs.

She would like to get a puppy right-away, so please let me know what or whom you may have available? Please email me back or give me a call.

Thanks so much and I hope you enjoy these pictures of Leo.

Best regards,
Dana S.

ABOUT BestShepherd BEAR —
EMail: Thursday, January 7, 2010

Hi Becky,
I bought a puppy from you a little over a year ago. It's parents were Hogan and GeeGee. You may not remember me, but you are a special part of my life because you gave me "Bear" — the Best dog Ever! I never realized that I could love an animal so much. You never experience complete love in your life until you own and take care of an animal — especially a dog. I want to thank you for coming into my life at a perfect time. I want to thank you for raising such beautiful animals! It is because of people like you "who care so much," that there is animal love in this world!

ABOUT BestShepherd SAMSON —
EMail: Friday, December 29, 2009

Hi,
I just wanted to thank you again for "Samson," from Hogan and GeeGee (June 2009). Samson is just a wonderful dog. He has completed beginners training and is now in intermediate training. He has been very quick to learn. He is simply "the Love of My Life!"

We go to the dog park at least three times a week and everyone just comments on his disposition and how beautiful a dog he is. The regulars are all into watching Sam grow. When I show up, someone calls out "the German Shepherd puppy is here!" One lady even told me that my dog brought smiles to peoples faces. These pictures are of Samson soon after we got him and with Santa in December 2009.

ABOUT BestShepherds MARLEIGH —
EMail: Thursday October 1, 2009

Hi Becky,
Marleigh is trying to make me feel better while I was sick on the couch. She has always got to be as close to me as she can get! She is such a smart dog — every day she makes me laugh about something — she loves to watch TV, especially Animal Planet! When she is outside and she hears an airplane, she will look up and watch it in the sky as far as she she can see it, 'til it disappears beyond the treeline. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen with a dog!! I just love her!
Take Care...
