GENERAL:
Our   Best Shepherds   family of websites depict puppies which may be available, subject to their prior adoption.   If you are interested in a Best Shepherds puppy, you must act quickly to avoid being disappointed. Description, gender and appearance of available puppies will naturally vary from time-to-time. All adoptions are arranged by telephone, EMail, postal mail or in person. Delivery outside of Massachusetts may be arranged. All Best Shepherds puppies are AKC registered, unless otherwise noted. If you like what you see, you are urged to act promptly and not be disappointed. We sell only our own carefully bred, topmost quality puppies.

AVAILABILITY:
Our top quality, carefully bred "pet companion puppies" have limited or full AKC registration and are usually priced starting at $1,500. Prices may vary from litter to litter. DEPOSIT:
Best Shepherds is a breeder and NOT a "Puppy Store". We are acredited and registered with the Better Business Bureau, whom we invite you to visit. A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of US$500.00 will hold a puppy for you. This helps to ensure that our BestShepherd puppies are held for loving, serious buyers and are guaranteed to have a home when they are ready for delivery. If you leave a deposit on a litter not yet whelped and there should be any complications or the pregnancy fails, your deposit will be credited to our next available litter. We will do our best to give you priority on our next available litter.

If you have an unforeseen change of circumstances and can not take delivery of the puppy when the puppy is ready for placement, BestShepherds will transfer your deposit credit to another litter that is more fitting to your situation. Ordinarily BestShepherds will hold your deposit for one (1) year, after which it may be forfeited at the option of BestShepherds.

TAKING DELIVERY:
When your puppy is ready for delivery (usually 8 weeks after birth), you must take delivery of your puppy. Either you must pick-up your puppy, or make reasonable delivery arrangements. In event you can not take delivery when the puppy is ready, you must make other arrangements for delivery or an additional boarding fee may be assessed. Best Shepherds frequently dispatches puppy delivery by air express to various destinations throughout the continental United States. You will need to make arrangements in advance of the delivery date for this service by contacting Ask@BestShepherds.com or by telephone at 1-978-355-6389 for shipping costs and services.

RESTRICTIONS:
This is neither an offer to sell or deliver any animal described on this site. All descriptions are provided for a visitor's general information and shall not be construed as an offer to sell or otherwise deliver any of the described animals. We reserve the absolute right for placement selection for our animals. We reserve the right to refuse sale of one or more puppies to any commercial pet store or other third party resellers. All puppies are strictly available on a first come, first qualified placement basis.

GROWN DOGS:
From time to time we may have a grown (mature) BestShepherd dog available. These dogs are wonderful, loving pets that may be simply retired from our breeding plan, or in some cases they may come from clients who can no longer care for their dog. For example, when a person moves from a private home to an apartment, the dog may no longer be welcome. We do NOT guarantee these older dogs and their prices usually start about US$500.00, when available. These grown dogs are typically between 3 to 5 years old and normally they are well trained. BestShepherds does provide a complete physical examination and up-to-date shots before delivery. Some of these grown dogs may be AKC registered, or otherwise their registration possibilities may be limited.

ABOUT PUPPY MILLS:
BestShepherds abhors puppy mills and commercial pet stores (such as found in Malls). Since we take pride in raising only healthy, quality dogs with known and well-socialized behaviour characteristics we do not retail our dogs through pet stores, pet shops or other indifferent merchandisers. All our puppies have personal human contact throughout their young lives. We feed only the best pet-foods to assure their healthy development. We have found our puppies to be clean, easy to house-break and gentle with children. Our puppies are known to develop into self-assured and good-natured companion dogs.
