When is time better for bringing a new puppy into your life. As they say "Livin' is Easy!" in the Summertime. That especially goes for a Puppy. Ever playful, the world is just full of so many things to check out and explore. Everywhere! Walks and runs in the warmth of Summer is so full of pleasure — especially when you have a frisky companion to join in with you! What now! What next! That seems to be the meaning of your Puppy's curiosity and ever-available energy. Summer brings together the best of Nature Everything is there to be explored. Even an occasional swim might be on your friend's agenda. To avoid missing out on this rare opportunity to bring more meaning into your Summertime Experience, consider adopting a Shepherd Puppy as your own life-long companion.

We are always proud of our litters. Our cared-for Adult dogs, such as Cinnamon and Hogan are thoughtfully bred to produce wonderful, healthy puppies with even temperaments and happy moods. We believe this is due to our Adults always being treated as one of our family, just another child with a healthy need for receiving and giving love and attention. We are careful to socialize our adult dogs and this carries over into the wonderful litters they produce.

When you select or reserve one of these pups it will be available for take-home adoption by the later part of July. Remember, you are picking a reliable new friend. In the past our litters have been "placed" quickly, and we expect these fine pups to also quickly find new loving families to care for.   Therefore— If you desire to adopt one of the finest AKC-Quality German Shepherds you will find anywhere, be sure to contact us "really soon" for one of these fine pups. Now for some fun...
Uncle Joe, or as our kids call him "Uncle Jo-Jo" came for a visit from "the city" today. I asked him to help me with holding some of the pups as I wanted to get some updated photos for this BestShepherds website.

Uncle Joe was coerced into holding puppies for me. The pups were nice and clean, so I told him he wouldn't get dirty. Being a good sport, he thought it might be fun. OMG!!! We all laughed so hard as the picture taking event unfolded...
visit the pictures below for quite a "telling tail".

Cinnamon and all her pups went to the vet for checkups. Cinnamon got a complete checkup and shots, right along with her pups. Cinnamon (the "Mom") weighed 98.9 pounds. Her milk is "gone" and the pups are on solid food. Cinnamon is doing great. After the vet she went to the Groomer. She now looks and feels great!

Her pups were all healthy. Their weights were checked, all averaging about 9 pounds at six weeks. Each pup's heart, lungs, eyes, teeth and joint mobility was checked, along with receiving a first puppy shot. Fecal tests were negative (ok) for worms. I am very meticulous about parasites and like to have their stools checked to make sure our de-worming program is effective. All our puppies are on ALBON™ as a preventative. They are also de-wormed with Strongid™ weekly. We are now feeding them Iams™ Large-Breed dry puppy food.

All German Shepherd pups begin their life looking like little black fur-balls. As time quickly passes their pedigreed heritage wins out and their bodies start the magical transistion from the helpless pup stage into the magnificient large breed German Shepherd dog that we all know so well and love so much. Soon the pup's coloration begins to show the various gold and black combinations so characteristic of their breed.

About the Sire:     DESCRIPTION_FOR_SIRE The litter JC's "Daddy" (Sire) (see pictures below) is from Champion and Titled (AKC registered) German Shepherd Lines.   "Wind Dancer Bouchard's Hogan", or   "Hogan" as we ordinarily call him, weighs about 125 healthy pounds.   He is very energetic, powerful and playful.   A big loveable boy.   He also takes to the water.   Hogan is an absolutely wonderful playmate and companion with children.   He is bright and learns quickly.
About the Dad: About the Mom:
About Their "Upbringing":     All our pups are raised indoors in our home. They are thoroughly loved and played with by our children. They show exceptionally good temperment.  One of these pups will be a wonderful addition in any family. They learn quickly and are easy to housebreak. They are unquestionably loyal, social and friendly — and yet they will be very protective when it is appropriate.
Any one of our pups could be yours, to grow up and warm you. Our pups are socialized from the time they are born. They are fondled and loved by children and adults. All our pups receive individual attention. We feed them well, with the best products. An even temperment and gentle nature is an important goal for our pups as they grow into fine, classic German Shepherd dogs.
