Meet Bouchard's "Lil' Rascal Spanky." Spanky was born in June 2009 and he is presently about 6 months old. Spanky weighs about 65 pounds. He is AKC registerable from fine AKC registered parents.

Spanky continues to be "In Training" and working towards his AKC "Canine Good Citizen" (CGC) certification. Spanky is ready to go and will bring joy and make a major contribution to a lucky family.

Spanky is a "Big Boy" and undoubtedly will mature into a HUGE but loveable companion for anyone who appreciates watchful German Shepherd loyalty and faithfulness traits. Although he is already big, he is agile and gentle: features which will shape him into a great companion dog, inside or outside the family home. Spanky has been well socialized. He loves to ride around in the car and meet other people in public settings. As with most of our dogs, he is so well behaved that we can literally take him anywhere. He knows and responds to his commands, such as: SIT, DOWN, OFF, STAY, COME, etc. which makes handling him a pleasant experience.

Spanky has proven tol be very loyal and well adjusted. He seems mellow in most settings, with nothing much bothering him.

Any way you look at it, Spanky is one dark handsome boy. He is predominately black with just the right amount of reddish color to make him really a knockout. Spanky is already HUGE as in "BIG". Above all, Spanky is Self Assured with lots of natural confidence.

Spanky is naturally handsome, with dark fur mixed with just the right amount of red and gold. He has grown Huge for his age and if his growth continues he will be "one big boy" when he reaches his prime.

Spanky loves kids and loves even more to play with anyone! He is very gentle and loving boy. He will definitely blend well into any loving family. He will make someone an excellent "companion dog," especially for a child-oriented family setting.

Any family looking for a self-assured guardian companion for children or just to have around the house will cherish Spanky's personality. He is assertive but not aggressive. He can be bold and intimidating if the ocassion arises. But his basic self is sweet and gentle and will remain that way if he is shown caring and love.
