WELCOME TO "BEST SHEPHERDS"—
BestShepherds Kennel is located in friendly Cottageville, South Carolina — about 40 miles West of Charleston, SC on Route 17A. We are readily accessible from nearby Interstate Route 95. Our original BestShepherds Kennel known to so many of our customers was previously located in Petersham, Massachusetts. Our new location provides us with a better year-around dog breeding and training facility due to the relatively short and mild winters in the Cottageville region. As before, our dogs are allowed to thrive in a fresh, natural environment that provides plenty of fresh air and exercise fields to enable our BestShepherds dogs to develop their wholesome personalities and strong bodies.

BestShepherds offers TRAINED DOGS which are a big step ahead of ordinary "house training." It means a skillfully trained dog which is a trustworthy companion. A TRAINED DOG is a lifetime investment in joy and pleasure of dog ownership at it's finest.
